Stop Helping & Start Doing

June 24, 2011

For the Men

I want to step up on a personal high horse and talk about  HUGE pet peeve for just one second, or a minute. Why is it considered “helping” when a (ok, some) a guy baby sits his own kid, does the dishes, folds the laundry? But that is what women do?

Seriously? Are none of the dishes in the sink his? Is it not his laundry that also needs to be folded? Dang, if I have one more female tell me how their husband “helps” by baby sitting his kids, I think I will loose it. Ok, maybe I already have. . . But seriously guys, please stop saying “I help you” when it is just as much your responsibility as it is of your significant other.

Ok, I am climbing down for now. . . .

Amen, Siter! I just wish I could get my husband to read this

I think the women that fought for our rights didn’t realize that we would end up doing everything. Or maybe, we just think we do it better than a man.

Have to wonder – uh, how did that happen? On this path I will be changing the oil in my husbands car soon
